KAZANKA
Kazan, Russia
2010
Positioned along the Right Bank of the Kazanka River, this project transforms the waterfront into a dynamic civic destination that seamlessly connects architecture, landscape, and public life. A sculptural, fluid building form anchors the site, its patterned façade and expansive glazing reflecting movement, light, and the river itself. Terraced steps cascade down to the water’s edge, creating a natural amphitheatre that encourages gathering, leisure, and uninterrupted engagement with the riverfront. Blending cultural, recreational, and social functions, the development redefines the riverbank as a vibrant urban promenade and a new landmark within the city’s public realm.
